Welcome to the "borrow a cargo bike A2" program

Cargo bikes can be borrowed during normal business hours for a few hours or up to a period of seven days. The scheduler below is to simply set up a pick-up day and time. After you schedule online, you must call or email with the desired length of time for which you'd like to borrow the bike. If you are curious and unfamiliar with cargo biking, but think a cargo bike could work for you, then this is a low-cost way to give one a try. This allows you to get your butt on a cargo bike seat and answer all the questions before making a big investment. We will even give you a bit of training and helpful advice to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Loaner helmets are availble if desired. The required deposit is mostly refundable within a few days less a processing fee of $25* after returning the bikes and equipment undamaged and unabused.  State Issued I.D. and Credit Card in borrower's name is required. User agreement endorsement at the time of borrowing is required.

*The rental fee helps defray a small portion of the cost to administer the program, including deposit processing fees and wear and tear. If you cannot afford the deposit or fee, please email us at bikewashtenaw@gmail.com to discuss options. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
